How can buildings be planned and implemented in such a way that they were not only energy-efficient, but also truly climate-neutral? In June 2025, we provided practical insights, tips and opportunities for discussion in three compact, 30-minute livestreams on LinkedIn – step by step from the concept to the practical implementation of a net-zero building.
In the first livestream event, we discussed resource-efficient and circular construction methods – a cornerstone of net zero.
We focused on extending the life cycle of buildings, choosing the right materials, reusing building components, and using waste as a resource – and explained why this is also important for sustainability certifications.
The second livestream event was dedicated to the topic of energy in construction.
We were happy to share our knowledge of energy-efficient refurbishments, intelligent operational optimization, and sustainable energy sources that are essential for a net-zero building. All in the name of reducing energy demand without sacrificing comfort and functionality.
The final livestream event focused on the practical implementation of circular and energy-efficient construction.
We explored what needs to be considered when deciding to reuse a building component, and what impact the choice of a more energy-efficient building material can have on user comfort.
By thoroughly testing building physics and acoustics, we demonstrated how net-zero buildings can meet the highest construction standards.
