Green Spin, Winterthur

For the pioneering Green Spin project in Winterthur – a multifunctional new building with a focus on sustainability – Encira was commissioned to provide specialist planning services in the areas of noise protection, building acoustics, room acoustics, and thermal building physics consulting, starting from SIA Phase 33.

The project

The building is a hybrid construction: with a solid basement, hybrid ceilings, and a bearing structure and façades made of timber. Energy is supplied via a local district heating network, supplemented by photovoltaic systems on the roof and façade to ensure CO₂ neutrality. The modular room structure and surface-mounted installation enable flexible use and easy conversion of the space.
