Heuweg Aarau - renovation and extension
In Aarau, two existing residential buildings are undergoing comprehensive energy-efficient renovation and are being extended using timber construction methods. The aim of the project is to sustainably upgrade the building stock whilst creating additional high-quality living space. Both buildings will be designed, constructed and certified to the SNBS Silver standard.
The project
The renovation and extension covers an area of around 2,900 m² and is intended exclusively for residential use. The measures will take holistic account of energy, environmental and user-oriented requirements.
Encira has been commissioned to provide specialist planning and consultancy in the field of sustainability and is supporting the project from the definition of objectives through to the achievement of SNBS Silver certification.
