Knight's House Chapel in Uerikon

Situated directly on the shores of Lake Zurich lies the historic Ritterhaus Uerikon with its chapel – a spacious, listed site with a unique atmosphere, ideal for private celebrations, cultural events and ceremonies. The chapel is characterised by its historic ambience and a simple, stylish design. A conversion into a high-quality venue for weddings, christenings, memorial services, concerts and readings is currently being planned and is due to be implemented in 2027. As part of this early project phase, Encira carried out measurements of the reverberation time (RT) and, based on these, developed a room acoustics consultation and a conceptual plan of action. The aim was to establish the acoustic foundations for various future uses – whilst consistently adhering to heritage conservation guidelines.
